Facebook new payment feature that allows sending money through messenger but by default there is no Password protection for payments at all.
Facebook payment option is out and you might have come across it, the button is located next to text box on desktop. That’s good if you want to send payment but Facebook demands no authentication by default to send money. So, anyone having access to your Facebook account can send money to themselves or to someone else.
By following these steps you can Password Protect Facebook Payment option :
- Goto Settings >> Payments >> Account Settings
- Select Preference & change password setting from “ OFF ” to “ ON “
so, now if someone accidentally gets access to your Facebook account and tries to send money then first they would have to enter your Facebook account password.
Right now this is the only option available to protect your account from illegal access.
